On August 24, 2023, the Altruist Salon, in collaboration with several other compassionate salon owners, hosted a heartwarming event at Franklin Elementary School that left over 60 students from Franklin and Hawthorne elementary schools with smiles as bright as their newly-trimmed locks. This six-hour event, which welcomed walk-ins throughout the day, not only provided free haircuts for these eager young learners but also extended a helping hand in choosing stylish outfits, thanks to the generosity of the University of Montana Griz softball team and Flathead Industries.
